Our Leadership Philosophy

Like the New Testament Church, Holy Trinity is led by a presbyter (priest), Father Aris,  and is accountable to a bishop, Metropolitan (Archbishop) Gerasimos of San Francisco. At the same time we embrace the biblical reality that all Christians are members of the Royal Priesthood. For this reason we describe our Parish Council, paid and volunteer staff, and officers of our various parish organizations as our “leadership team.”

Decisions at Holy Trinity are reached through prayerful deliberation that invites everyone’s honest input. As we struggle to reach consensus we are continually guided by the words “What do you think?”

We encourage forthright communication, avoid gossip, and recognize that factionalism has no place in the Church.
